The topic of the meeting was “Little tragedies” by A.S. Pushkin, translation from the language of literature into the language of images.”
Victor Apukhtin clearly told connoisseurs of his work that Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin is an outstanding thinker; “Little Tragedies” are illustrations and interpretations on the theme of Hegelian logic, the law of unity and the struggle of opposites. Further, the artist explained how and by what means translation takes place from the language of literature to visual synonyms.
At the meeting, Viktor Apukhtin presented 14 of his illustrations to the works of A.S. Pushkin.
