Victor Olegovich Apukhtin is a graphic artist, painter, illustrator of world literature, teacher and creator of Academia Magic Art, where he teaches children and adults using his own methodology, formed over years of practice and teaching.
Born in 1952, a descendant of a famous noble family. Since 1981 Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, Member of the Academy of Arts of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In 1977 for a series of graphic works he was awarded a gold medal and a 1st degree diploma from the Academy of Arts of the USSR and the Ministry of Culture of the USSR.
Since 1982, Viktor Olegovich taught at the Tashkent Theater and Art Institute named after. A. N. Ostrovsky. Taught a course in the art of books, illustration and etching. Headed the Department of Graphics.
Since 1988, Apukhtin has been mainly engaged in painting, philosophy, and psychology.
Thus, since 1991, Victor Apukhtin has finally formed the philosophical and aesthetic concept of “ACADEMIA MAGIC ART”, in the context of which theoretical and practical works at the intersection of philosophy, psychology and art appear.
Apukhtin’s teaching is not built on the classical teaching system, but is based on absolute knowledge of the subject and the formation in a person of both the foundations of painting and worldview through an understanding of art. Classes with Apukhtin are always voluminous and multifaceted - these are monologues and dialogues, stories, lectures, examples and practice. The teacher carefully prepares each lesson according to the established structure, but with special features for the audience format.
More than several hundred students passed through the Apukhtin Academy, whom the Teacher helped to discover their individual approaches to painting and find their way, to reveal their creative abilities.
Apukhtin participates in many international exhibitions. Also, under his leadership, more than a dozen exhibitions of students of his Academia Magic Art, both individual and group, were held.
Victor Olegovich gives lectures on art, conducts his own master classes and plein airs, works in the workshop with students in groups or individually (children and adults). You can contact the Master through his art curator. A detailed lesson plan is built after the audience’s goals are formed.
His author’s course “Theater of Painting of Fulfilled Desires,” consisting of 6 full-fledged lessons, will help you learn the basics of Victor Apukhtin’s methodology. The action takes place according to the laws of the theater:

3. Finding a plastic synonym for “performance” is sensual,

4. Finding a material, visual synonym for the performance. Selection of expressive means of depicting the main idea of the performance.
5. Bringing thoughts and feelings together: creating a material-sensory cosmos.
