Victor Apukhtin took part in ceremonial events dedicated to the Ambassador of Russian culture - Alexey Bogolyubov in St. Petersburg

On Russia Day, June 12, an event dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the great ambassador of Russian painting Alexei Petrovich Bogolyubov was held in St. Petersburg in the Necropolis of Art Masters.


As part of the project of the year of Bogolyubov, which is carried out by the ASSOCIATION OF EXPERTS IN THE FIELD OF INTERNATIONAL, BUSINESS AND CULTURAL COOPERATION "PUBLIC DIPLOMACY" with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, part of the project team visited the Necropolis, laying flowers on the slab of the artist - the ambassador of Russian diplomacy, giving a short lecture about creativity Bogolyubov for visitors, as well as holding a plein air dedicated to one of the main marine painters of the Russian Empire, a man who did so much for his Motherland.



The event was attended by Viktor Apukhtin’s curators - Galina Merzlikina, art critic, curator, president of the Center for International and Cultural-Business Cooperation “Culture for Life”, vice-president of the Konstantin Korovin Foundation, founder of the Gala Art Bureau. Elena Peshkova is an artist, curator, president of the Konstantin Korovin Foundation, founder of the art association “Vysota”, head of the Gala Art Bureau (Uzbekistan).


Plein air on the banks of the Neva was also held under the direction of Viktor Apukhtin.
